Tim Braun is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine with advanced training in addiction medicine. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, he is a proud alumnus of Mount Saint Mary High School. Upon graduation, Tim was awarded the Oklahoma State Regents Scholarship and earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology with honors from the University of Central Oklahoma. After spending four years as a high school teacher and coach at his alma mater, he decided to pursue his childhood dream of practicing medicine. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and graduated from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as a Physician Assistant. Tim has several years of clinical experience working at a private practice serving the rural community of Lindsay, OK. With a deep commitment to comprehensive and continuous care, he enjoys building foundational relationships in a family practice setting with patients of all ages. He has expertise managing a wide variety of medical conditions, from acute and chronic diseases to preventive care and health promotion. Perhaps his most satisfying work has been treating patients with opioid use disorder. The opioid epidemic continues to be a national crisis, destroying families without prejudice. Tim has witnessed the profound transformative effects of recovery through medication-assisted treatment (buprenorphine) in many of his patients and is truly excited to offer this service at Remedy Health. When not at work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, and cooking. He is an avid Thunder and Sooners fan and often attends games with his son.
