Michael Seyfried, MD

Dr. Seyfried is a primary care physician board certified in both Family Medicine and Occupational and Preventive Medicine who has been in private practice in north Atlanta since 1986. His experience has covered the full spectrum of primary care from newborn to geriatrics in both an outpatient and hospital setting. He grew up in north Alabama then attended Auburn University for undergraduate studies and subsequently the University of South Alabama Medical School for his MD. After an Internship here in Atlanta, he returned to Alabama for his residency training in Family Medicine. Since completing his residency and joining Family Practice Associates of Atlanta, he has lived in Marietta with his wife Lori, raising 3 sons who have all settled in the area. Dr. Seyfried has been honored by his peers as an Atlanta TOP DOC every year since 1999. He has similarly been recognized by several national organizations for his exceptional patient satisfaction ratings and is excited about bringing this level of commitment to personal care and excellence to HIPnation and the individuals who trust us with their most valuable asset, their health.
