Melissa Loftis, PA-C, co-founded Northwest Family Medicine in 2003 with Dr. Cary Fisher with a shared commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care. After Dr.Fisher’s retirement, Melissa has continued to lead the clinic while maintaining its strong focus on personal relationships and attentive care for patients and their families. With more than 30 years of experience in family medicine, Melissa values the long-term relationships she has built with her patients and believes that understanding each person’s unique needs is key to delivering excellent care. Melissa attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma before earning her degree in Physician Associate Studies from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1995. She has practiced family medicine ever since and has been active in the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Associates, serving in several leadership roles. Outside the clinic, Melissa enjoys traveling, walking her dog, and spending time with her husband, David, and their two sons, Matthew and Carter.
