Dr. Lauren Wostrel grew up in North Texas and attended Central Christian College to play basketball on scholarship. She received a degree in Natural Sciences at CCC. She met Dr. Lyman Wostrel at the Ross University School of Medicine, where she received her M.D. degree. She attended a residency program in California and started the Zion Asher Family Clinic, a Direct Primary Care clinic, with her husband in Mount Vernon in 2018. She has been providing women's health visits at the Free Market Physician clinics in Joplin and Neosho since 2018. She joined the Free Market Physician- Cassville Clinic in 2024. She provides women's health visits there and is part of a care team with Dr. Lyman Wostrel, working as an Assistant Physician. She and Dr. Wostrel balance their professional lives while raising three children. She enjoys farming and off-the-grid prepping!
