Meet Dr Lauren Mixtacki MD Hometown- Madison, WI (east side, attended LaFollette High School) Undergrad - Winona State University in Minnesota Med School - University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Residency - Waukesha Family Practice Residency Program What Dr Mixtacki likes to do in her free time - Spending time with her husband Brian and kids exploring parks and having family adventures, cooking, arts and crafts, singing and listening to music, hiking, biking, camping, and playing volleyball. Why Dr Mixtacki chose Family Medicine -"I believe that Family Practice is the heart of the medical system. I was drawn to the longstanding doctor-patient relationships, preventative focus, and spectrum of care that defines Family Medicine. I enjoy partnering with people of all ages and backgrounds across their lifespans and feel privileged to watch families grow and change over time. As a Primary Care Physician, I have the honor of serving not only as a doctor, but also as teacher, guide, and advocate."
