With over 30 years in the healthcare field, I have had a passion for helping others since becoming a paramedic in 1990. That passion continues today in everything I do. I am a graduate of Regis Universitys Family Nurse practitioner program in 2009 and am board certified as both a Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner as well as hold national certification as a surgical first assistant. I have experience with caring for a variety of patients in the roles I have worked including Emergency/ Trauma and Critical care, Primary care, surgical, and palliative/hospice care. I am not just a provider but also a patient. Having experienced emergency cardiac bypass surgery at 46 years old, my focus in life has changed drastically. It has opened my eyes to those things that we take for granted.
