Dr. Erica Dearman is a board-certified Family Medicine osteopathic physician who brings deep clinical experience, thoughtful leadership, and a whole-person approach to patient care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah in 2005, followed by her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa in 2009. She completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City in 2012. Throughout her career, Dr. Dearman has served patients and led teams in both clinic and hospital settings. Her experience includes roles as a staff physician, Hospital Chief of Staff, Clinic Medical Director, senior-focused primary care physician, and Medical Director for Mercy Hospice. Since 2019, she has practiced family medicine with Mercy, and in 2023 she began focusing specifically on the care of adults age 65 and older. Dr. Dearman’s decision to join the Direct Primary Care movement comes from a deeply held conviction that medicine works best when physicians and patients have time to build real relationships. After witnessing the growing strain and fragmentation of the traditional healthcare system, she was drawn to a model that restores the heart of primary care: access, trust, continuity, and partnership. As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Dearman believes in caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and in supporting the body’s innate ability to heal when given the right environment and opportunity. Her goal is to partner with patients, empower them in their health journey, and help them optimize their quality of life through compassionate, relationship-centered care. Dr. Dearman lives in the Edmond area with her husband and their three sons. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
