Hello all, my name is Emily, I am a Family Nurse Practitioner at Coastal Maine Direct Care. I have over seven years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings which has lended me a rich and blended perspective on medicine, health and wellness. I love working in a Direct Primary Care practice because it has given me the gift of time with patients, which allows for the building of a nurturing provider/patient relationship that benefits all parties involved. My educational journey included an herbalism apprenticeship, where I witnessed the remarkable power of treating the person as a whole, which has become a core component of my patient care philosophy. In my free time I enjoy crock pot cooking (set it and forget it!), tea blending, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
