Chris Beene, MD

My journey in medicine started at a young age. The oldest of 10 children, I have known I wanted to be a doctor since the age of 6 and never wavered from that dream. I was born in McAlester Oklahoma, attending public school there until moving to Stigler OK where I graduated from high school. After high school, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology from East Central University. Afterward, I applied and was accepted into the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. My experiences in medical school eventually led me to attend the family medicine residency training program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas. I am a board-certified family medicine physician who has practiced for over 10 years. When I am not taking care of my patients, I am a devoted family man. I have been married to my wife of 14 years, Courtney, who is a local business owner; we are kept busy by our two young sons, Hunter and Colton, along with our two dogs, Rex and Chloe. We enjoy spending quality time together hunting, fishing, hiking, and hanging out at the lake.
