Audrey Goodwin, MD

When trying to figure out a career, I wanted something that would challenge me, encourage me to continue learning, and allow me to give back to my community. Becoming a physician covered these things and allowed me to connect with other people, which quickly became my favorite part of the job. Going to the doctor can feel vulnerable, especially if a new illness or diagnosis is involved. I do my best to help my patients feel supported, educated, and empowered to take care of themselves. My favorite part of work is spending time with my patients, whether that involves hearing about a recent trip, favorite activity, or discussing health concerns. I have two daughters in elementary school. We enjoy dancing and singing along to our favorite songs, going on walks with our dogs, and spending time at Lake Eufaula. I also collect vinyl records and enjoy crafting and yoga.
