He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with an undergraduate degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and earned his master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences / Organizational Development and Leadership and Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia campus.
